Ebay item 3/31/15
www.ebay.com/itm/271822826044
Car has a buy it now price of $9,000 for 5 days.

Sellers description:
1975 Jaguar XJ6C, gun metal silver over red leather. Produced in September of 1975 it is getting ready to celebrate it's 40th anniversary.

In many ways it is an exceptional example: The body of this vehicle is completely rust-free. I've had it up on a lift for an inspection, and the undercarriage is completely original, clean and dry with no signs of rust or damage to the front or rear valences, rockers and floor pans. Just as nice as could be. Original exhaust system from headers back is in good condition as well.

One repaint to original color many years ago, it's showing its age with some minor flaws, but overall still a nice driver quality finish. All panels are nice and straight. Excellent quality chromework throughout, and wheels deserve special mentioning, as they show no flaws at all, just a beautiful shiny chrome, free of scratches, dents, etc. Vinyl top is free of sun damage, as good as new. All weather seals are good.

Original leather, wool and wood interior of the car overall is exceptional for it's age., leather is very soft with lovely patina, original wool carpets are in good condition, headliner and vinyl dash are perfect, while wooden portion of the dash showing it's age with cracked lacquer finish. However, the veneer is not damaged, so the dash can be refinished to perfection.

This car was fitted with a short block Chevrolet V8 and 700Turbo auto transmission. While I'm not a big fan of conversions, I have to admire this one, as it was done flawlessly. The car drives very nicely. Engine is powerful, quiet and smooth, keeps good oil pressure and temperature, no undo noises or smoke, transmission shifts nicely, power steering and power brakes work well, all gauges are operational. AC is all there and connected, turns on, but doesnt cool enough, likely needs a recharge. Very nicely done conversion. It also leaves plenty of room in the engine bay for easy servicing.

Recent items for the car include tires, factory refurbished Quadrajet carburator on Edelbrock performer intake, Corvette fuel pump. The car does have an occasional stumble, where you have to feather the accelerator pedal a bit, so the carburator needs adjustment. I'll likely have this issue fixed in the next couple of days, but wanted to mention it anyway.

This vehicle was last registered in 2008 when the owner passed away, his widow donated the car to her church, where I bought it at the charity auction last year. I really should be keeping the car, but it's a little difficult at the moment, so here is your chance to get a nice original beautiful color combo 2-door XJ for reasonable amount. I have a clear title and will help with shipping arrangements as needed.

Inspections before auction end are welcome and encouraged, you will not be disappointed.
