Rare 1975 Jaguar XJ6C custom coupe, professionally built by the famous late Fred Wickens. 383 Lingenfelter small block stroker engine, 700R4 Art Carr transmission. Wickens was one of the first hot rodders, but he is best known for his prowess of designing and building racing boats. Original mileage on the car is 71,000 and only 9,580 miles on the engine and transmission. Custom ENKIE wheels, mahogany steering wheel, air conditioning. This is a rust-free, damage free car runs and drives fantastic. Handles great. This car was Wickens' last car.

    Ebay item 10/25/15

Current bid US $3,550 reserve not met 14 bids 3 days left in auction, buy it now price $18,000. Car now said to be in Scottsdale, Arizona, seller azebb68, 18k miles.

    Sellers description:
This is a super clean. Rust free, very rare car.

This was professionally converted to a small block John Lingenfelter 383 stoker engine and an Art Carr automatic transmission. Since I purchased this car I have had the brake lines and brakes redone. The A/C has been completely redone. The fuel system has be redone and a better carb put on it.
This cat moves. You can cruise all day in comfort and if you feel like it you can put your foot down and light up the tires (positraction).
This car is beautiful and reliable. Even the clock still works. The interior is in good condition no tears but the leather is 40 years old the wood is lightly cracked but not so bad it needs replaced. If you are a perfectionist it cost about $400 to have the wood refinished.
I can not guarantee miles of 78000 but it was sold to me as such and nothing indicates otherwise.
The power windows and locks work. The windows are a little slow but all 4 work. The only thing I didnt finish was the power antenna.
If you want a cool cat to cruise in that is rust free and gets tons of attention then this is for you.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
