This 1974 Jaguar XJ6L is a long-wheelbase example that was reportedly purchased new by the seller’s father. It is finished in Primrose Yellow over tan leather and powered by a 4.2-liter inline-six paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. The car was inherited by the seller in January 2020, and subsequent work has included re-sealing of the cam cover, rebuilding of the carburetors, and servicing of the brakes and fuel system. This XJ6L is now offered at no reserve with owner’s manuals, recent service records, and a clean Colorado title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in Primrose Yellow and features body side moldings and dual fuel fillers. The power antenna is noted to be non-functional while paint chips and other blemishes are shown in the image gallery below.

Polished 15″ Jaguar wheels are wrapped in 215/70 Michelin narrow whitewall tires. The brake fluid was changed and the front and rear brake pads, rear calipers, and brake master cylinder were replaced in September 2020.

The cabin features seats upholstered in tan leather which extends to the center console and door panels. Appointments include brown carpets, power windows, and a cassette stereo. The wood trim on the dashboard is cracked, the headliner is sagging, and the seat upholstery shows wear. The air conditioning does not work.

The two-spoke steering wheel wears a leather cover and frames a 140-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 5k-rpm redline, and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. The five-digit odometer shows just under 16k miles, approximately 50 of which were added by the seller. Total mileage is unknown.

The 4.2-liter inline-six sends power to the rear wheels via a three-speed automatic transmission. Work since September 2020 has included a transmission service, a reseal of the cam cover, a rebuild of the dual carburetors, and replacement of the the fuel level sending units, fuel pumps and filters, transmission cooler lines, and battery. An oil leak is noted.

Owner’s manuals are included in the sale along with service records for work completed under current ownership.

This 1974 Jaguar XJ6L is a long-wheelbase example that is finished in Primrose Yellow over tan leather upholstery and is powered by a 4.2-liter inline-six paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes 15″ wheels, power-assisted brakes, power windows, and a cassette stereo. The car was sold on BaT in September 2021 before being acquired out of Minnesota by the seller in 2022. This XJ6L is offered with manufacturer’s literature, service records, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in Primrose Yellow and features chrome-accented bumpers, dual fuel fillers, and integrated dual exhaust outlets. The windshield and rear window seals exhibit cracks, and the power antenna is noted to be non-functional. Paint chips and other blemishes are visible.

Polished 15″ wheels wear 215/70 Michelin whitewall tires that require replacement due to age. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes, and service in September 2020 involved a brake fluid flush and replacement of the brake pads, rear calipers, and brake master cylinder.

The cabin features seats upholstered in tan leather, which extends to the center console and door panels. Equipment includes power windows, a cassette stereo, and woodgrain dash trim, the latter of which is cracked. The air conditioning does not work.

The two-spoke steering wheel frames a 140-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 5k-rpm redline, and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. The five-digit odometer displays 17k miles, 200 of which were added by the seller. Total mileage is unknown.

Work performed since September 2020 has included a transmission service, a reseal of the cam cover, an overhaul of the carburetors, and replacement of the fuel level sending units, fuel pumps and filters, transmission cooler lines, and battery. Oil leaks are noted.
