Ebay item 9/11/11
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1973-Jaguar-XJ6-Series-1-V8-Low-Reserve-/230671090401
Opening bid $5,000 reserve not met, no bids 6 days left in auction. 47k miles.

Sellers description:
series 1 1973 Jaguar XJ6 with a V8 conversion!
Over $7000 dollars have been put into the car this year!

Was purchased locally May 2010 and was in the hands of one family, though the owner may have changed

Condition
I have replaced the wheel bearings, exhaust, gas tank, one manifold, wiper motors, brakes, and other small parts

The car has new tires that were purchased last year as well

The car also has a brand new 5.7 liter 350 V8 Goodwrench engine, which has around 2,000 miles on it

The engine swap was done professionally at a local auto shop

The paint is not perfect as there is some dings and dents

There is paint scrapes around the hood but are cosmetic

The interior is not perfect and has normal leather cracks from age and there is rust on some of the screws in the car, though it is still very clean

The speedometer and tachometer are not hooked up and need a part to be fully accurate

The car also has an aftermarket sunroof that needs to be serviced and adjusted to work properly

Left gas tank is brand new and works perfectly but right gas tank needs to be serviced

A/C needs to be hooked up, but have not looked into price

When taking a left turn a slight vibration occurs, which is most likely an alignment issue, though it has not been professionally diagnosed

Car is smoke-free

Over $7000 dollars have been put into the car this year

The car is a pleasure to drive and is in full driving condition!

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
