Ebay item 10/18/16 www.ebay.com/itm/Jaguar-XJ6-L-/302106968643
Current bid US $1,525 reserve not met, 27 bids 3 days left in auction, seller raycoeurospec, 97k miles.
Sellers description:
For your consideration is this 1979 Jaguar XJ6L. The car was driven about 100 miles and traded in here at our dealership. The car is NOT a barn find. It was driven regularly but not daily. It will need some work to make it a daily driver. It can use a fresh coat of paint as the current paint has crows feet. The interior will need a little stitching. The wood on the dashboard has a few cracks. It has an aftermarket stereo but the original is included. Here is a list of things that we found with it that will need to be addressed sooner or later:
Steering rack leaking
Trans Pan Gasket leaking
Upper and lower ball joints
Front and Rear shocks leaking
Rear differential pinion seal leaking
Headliner beginning to fall in the rear
Brake pads are 5's
Tires are 10/32 nds and there is no dry rot
A/C is blowing at 60 degrees
Valve cover gasket leaking
However even after all the above is mentioned the car is still very solid. It has great bones. It starts, shifts and stops just fine. Power windows work. Radio works. Just needs someone with the time / Passion to bring it back to it's former glory. We attempted to provide the best, untouched photos as possible.
