This is a really nice example of a 1979 Jaguar XJ-6L. It is a long wheel-base Series II version. Mileage is 36500.
It has the 4.2L Jaguar 6 cylinder with automatic transmission. Always been a non smoker car and has always had excellent storage.

This car has low miles from extensive maintenance such as tune ( plugs points cap ect ) ) all rubber ( hoses ), brakes and fluids.

Stainless exhaust. Very good tires.

There are very few excuses to make for the cosmetics. Paint ( Regency Red ) and bright work are wonderful. The interior in tan is very nice and shows very little wear. Bright work is very nice

This 1979 Jaguar XJ6L is a long-wheelbase model that is finished in red over tan leather and powered by a fuel-injected 4.2L inline-six paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes fog lights, chrome 15″ wheels, automatic climate control, and an eight track stereo. The car was acquired in January 2021 by the seller, and work performed during current ownership has consisted of servicing the air conditioning and replacing the fan clutch, shocks, tires, spark plugs, thermostat, belts, and hoses. This XJ6L is offered at no reserve with spare parts, manufacturer’s literature, a brochure, a tool kit, and a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in red and was reportedly repainted during prior ownership. Tan pinstripes have been added to the sides of the body, and additional features include fog lights with yellow lenses, a Leaper hood ornament, and dual fuel fillers, exhaust outlets, and side mirrors. The tail light gaskets were replaced in 2021 and a replacement antenna was installed in preparation for the sale.

Chrome 15″ steel wheels are wrapped in 215/70 Cooper Trendsetter SE whitewall tires that were reportedly mounted in 2021. The shocks and front ball joints were replaced and a brake fluid flush was performed in 2021. Braking is handled by discs at all four corners.

The interior features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in tan leather with fabric backs. Wood trim accents the dashboard, and amenities include automatic climate control, an eight-track stereo, a vanity mirror housed in the glovebox, and power windows. The headliner is said to have been replaced in January 2022 and the speakers were replaced during current ownership. Wear is present on the carpet around the accelerator pedal.

The two-spoke steering wheel frames a 140-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 5k-rpm redline along with auxiliary gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and battery voltage. The five-digit odometer shows 37k miles, approximately 1k of which were added by the seller.

The 4.2-liter inline-six is equipped with electronic fuel injection. Work performed in 2021 included an oil change, fluid services, and replacement of the fan clutch, radiator cap, belts, hoses, spark plugs, thermostat, and fuel filter. The air conditioning compressor was replaced in January 2022, and the seller states that the receiver/drier was also replaced and the system converted to use R134a at that time.

Power is delivered to the rear wheels via a three-speed automatic transmission.
