Sellers description:
Vintage 1983 Jaguar XJ6 Series III 4-door Sedan
2nd owner has loved and pampered this unique vehicle for the past 15 years.
Near mint condition. 61,600 original miles.
Meticulously maintained and always garage kept--never driven in sleet or snow!
This is a superb, all-original survivor--a sleek, elegant, reliable daily driver that should go to a good home!
MISCELLANEOUS NOTES:
Very quiet & smooth-running.
Steers tight & corners like new--hugs the road--even at high speeds!
No rust!
Exceptionally solid--absolutely no squeaks or rattles--astounding for any 30-year old car!
Excellent Brakes--tops on a dime.
Newer Battery, Alternator, Sparkplugs, Belts & Hoses.
Newer Perelli Tires with less than 5,000 miles.
Excellent original Paint & Pin-striping--the only visible defect is a small (1-2 cm) blistering located beneath the right rear window trim and is pictured. I have treated this blister with a rust inhibiting wax for the past 9 years and it has not progressed!
Chrome, Glass, Leather, Walnut Dashboard & Carpets are all in excellent/immaculate original condition.
Original Owner's Manual and Shop Manual.
*AM/FM Stereo w/Power Antenna work fine with terrific fidelity--Cassette Player has not worked since we've owned the vehicle. It is the original Jaguar Radio/Cassette player & could be repaired/replaced with a CD player but the original unit has been retained for authenticity.
*A/C blows but needs re-charged.
