Lot #132436

This 1983 Jaguar XJ6 spent time in Colorado, Massachusetts, and Florida before it was acquired by the seller in 2020, and it was refinished in metallic red under previous ownership. Powered by a 4.2-liter inline-six paired with a three-speed automatic transmission, the car has 15″ Kent alloy wheels, power-assisted disc brakes, tan leather upholstery, power windows and locks, air conditioning, an AM/FM cassette stereo, and wood veneer interior trim. This XJ6 is offered at no reserve with manufacturer’s literature, a jack kit, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.

The body was finished in Claret (CEA) from the factory, and it was repainted under previous ownership. It has quad headlights, a Leaper hood ornament, power-adjustable side mirrors, and polished dual exhaust outlets that exit through the rear valance. There is a bubble on the bottom of the left-front fender, imperfections are present around the left headlight.

The 15″ Kent alloy wheels are mounted with 205/70 Kelly Edge A/S tires showing 2022 date codes. The car has power steering, and stopping power is provided by power-assisted front and inboard rear disc brakes.

The seating surfaces are trimmed in tan leather upholstery and are complemented by a color-coordinated center console, door panels, and carpets. Wood veneer trim accents the dashboard and center stack, and additional appointments include power windows and locks, an AM/FM cassette stereo, and air conditioning. Cracks are present in the finish on the glove box door. The seller states that the air conditioning system was serviced in 2023.

A leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts a 140-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 22k miles.

The 4.2L inline-six sends power to the rear wheels via a Borg-Warner three-speed automatic transmission. An oil change was performed in 2023.

Additional underside photos are presented in the gallery.

Manufacturer’s literature and a jack kit are included in the sale.
