Sellers description:
All original 1986 Jaguar XJ6 with only 49,000 miles. This car has had one owner since it was purchased new from Gorin Jaguar in Vernon, Connecticut, and was serviced regularly there, then later at Imported Auto Center in Glastonbury (all service records and provenance will be included with sale). Most everything is in functioning condition. The only electrical problem I've been made aware of is the driver's side rear window not going down; however, the radio, air conditioning, other power windows and sunroof, power locks, gauges, and trip computer are all in working order. This vehicle runs and drives perfectly; the suspension is tight and the transmission shifts smoothly. The interior is also in near immaculate condition. The leather and upholstery are close to flawless, with the only minor wear being on the side of the driver's seat where one gets in and out. There is some light cracking in the wood grain of the dash, and more severe on the console. The exterior is also in good condition for the year; the chrome is well taken care of, and the paint only shows faint lacquer cracking along with some slight fading. The biggest cosmetic flaw is a scratch along the lower half of the driver's door. There are also a couple minute nicks and dings indicative of a thirty year old car with original paint.
All in all, if you're looking for a pristine example of an original Series III XJ6, look no further. This car is a turn-key cruiser, or could easily be restored to show condition.
