Car to be at auction 6/14
www.barons-auctions.com/details.php

Auction description:
Manufacturer Daimler (Jaguar Cars)
Model Double Six Coupe
First Registered 1977
Registration No OPA 700R
Engine No 29793
Chassis No 2F-1113BM
MOT None
Colour Green Sand

This rare Double Six Coupe is offered for recomissioning but is said to have been the beneficiary of considerable expenditure in the past; since when it has been dry stored.

The car is offered complete with a huge history file, which includes the original bill of sale from the 30th July 1977, when the car cost £8,521.10. The file contains bills totalling around £20,000 for various works but it now requires some TLC and recommissioning before use.

Finished in Green Sand with black vinyl roof and cinnamon leather, the car is complete and thought to be very sound.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
