This 1979 Jaguar XJ6L is the last year of Jaguar's Series II.
The chrome and stainless brightwork on this motor car is absolutely impeccable. The body is very straight with no signs of rust. The padded dash and instrument wood panels are in excellent condition.
The "L" stands for "long" as it rolls on a longer wheel base than the standard sedan and this makes for a very smooth ride.
The chrome factory wheels coupled with the stunning blue color makes this classic a head turner.
The original leather interior shows some age but we decided to leave it as a vintage car is only original once.
The fuel injected 4.2 L straight-six runs well and the Borg Warner automatic transmission shifts firmly.
The trunk area is very clean and the car still retains it's original tools.
This motor car can be taken to a British car show and it would probably take home trophies for it's originality.
