Ebay item 5/3/16
www.ebay.com/itm/Jaguar-XJ6-long-wheel-base-/121969512168
Current bid US $1,125 reserve not met 26 bids 1 day left in auction. Seller marquisauto2013, 25k miles.

Sellers description:
This car is a former US car that was brought into Canada and recently traded in at a dealership I do business with. The car had been in storage until very recently. The car retains much of it's original splendour however it has had a heart transplant. Under the bonnet sits a carbureted 350 GM engine. I was told it was from a Corvette however I haven't verified this. The body has been repainted and is in great condition. The leather interior looks to be in excellent condition with minimal wear. The carpets are also excellent. I have driven this car approximately 100 miles and it has performed very well. The engine pulls strong and the transmission shifts perfectly with no issues. The brakes are soft and I believe that the booster may need replacement. All the lights function. The fan motor seems to work sporadically however I believe it to be just a poor wiring connection.

This is an absolutely cool car to have. I have had the privilege of driving many vehicles however this one turns heads like no other. Not something you see everyday that's for sure. The GM engine makes this a very simple car to work on. This car is not a concourse restoration. There are blemishes in the paint and other small imperfections. This car is for someone who can appreciate the styling of the SeriesII XJ and wants to drive it. You will not win first prize at Pebble Beach and should not expect to with this car. This car is being sold " AS IS " with no warranty. Although this car looks and drives great please expect typical wear and tear for a 38 year old vehicle.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
