Ebay item 7/17/16
www.ebay.com/itm/Jaguar-XJ6-L-4-2L-6-CYL-FUEL-INJECTION-WITH-SUNROOF-/3817045547 ...
Opening bid US $12,000 reserve not met no bids 6 days left in auction, buy it now price $15,500, seller westcoastclassics, 79k miles.

Sellers description:
West Coast Classics are proud to present an absolutely exceptional and stunning example of this original southern California 1978 Jaguar XJ6 L 4.2L fuel injection 6 cylinder sedan with only 79K original miles! Gorgeous and and desirable color combination of original factory 'Dark Blue' paint with factory chrome disc wheels and a beautiful doeskin 'Red' leather interior, AM/FM Stereo with tape, tilt wheel, cruise control, sliding sunroof, power door locks and air conditioning! This particular car must be seen to be truly appreciated! A real head-turner!

Obviously always garaged with absolutely no rust and no accidents, originally purchased and serviced at 'Terry York Jaguar' of Encino, CA and owned by only obviously very careful and mature southern California owner/drivers since new - never abused, babied all the way! The original factory 'Dark Blue' paint is still in as new condition as is the original 'Red' color leather seats interior with the door panels, headliner and the carpets also in outstanding and virtually flawless condition throughout.

This must be one of the finest examples available anywhere of this classic early model XJ6 Jaguar, a truly luxurious smooth ride and one of the last beautiful hand built cars from Jaguar's legendary Browns Lane, Coventry, England plant and becoming increasingly hard to find in such all original condition and with this car having only obviously very careful southern California owners since new and with the car having obviously always been garaged and reportedly having been primarily only serviced at only certified Jaguar mechanics or dealerships since new! No history of any accidents, rust or 'stories' and with all original owners dealer handbooks and manuals!

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
