Current bid $3,500, no reserve, 6 bids 6 days left in auction. 28k miles.

Sellers description:
The paint and body are in great condition. New tires and brakes. The old V12 was removed years ago from a previous owner, it was replaced with a dependable light weight Chevy 350 V8. The motor needs some TLC but runs drives, and stops great. This is a rare XJ12L edition. This car has been garaged for the last couple of years and has been driven locally by my wife. There is virtually no rust on the exterior of the car, I was also told the duel gas tanks have been replaced within the last few years (from previous owner).

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
