Ebay item 2/27/23
www.ebay.com/itm/266146483161
Current bid: $4,510 reserve not met 7 bids, 4 days left in auction, seller salesmotorcars, 78k miles.

Seller's description:
This great looking Jaguar Coupe is great find as well as one spectacular value.

This car has was registered and driven in Connecticut and it comes with a Connecticut title and a previous registration from the past owner. It had been owned by the same gentleman for over 30 years and he found he was not using it as much recently. The engine swap was performed many years ago and was done with a Johns Cars Kit which allowed the small block Chevrolet motor and turbo 350 transmission to work seamlessly in this installation.

This conversion also has HEI Chevrolet ignition installed which is simple and works great on any small block Chevrolet engine.

Our shop replaced engine oil and coolant and also checked the rest of the fluids, a tune up was performed and some new coolant hose work on the car was completed. It runs and drives really well, shifts great no vibrations and has good oil pressure. The car is quick and quiet and the installation that was completed and years ago and in use all this time was done correctly.

This car will absolutely be a blast to own and continue to give someone years of ownership and enjoyment on a budget! While showing off the beautiful Jaguar Coupe lines and grace.

If you have been watching the numbers these cars have been earning especially with the restomod updates and repowering that people are looking for, this is a perfect foundation for a Jaguar that will be dependable and have a familiar powerplant.

The car has a nice set of Truspoke wire wheels that have a deep set of tires on them. The suspension is sound, and no rattles or clunks. We did not build this car, but we did a quick go around, and did some road-testing and the car is fun to drive.

The Vinyl top is in very good condition considering that it is the original top and the interior being original also, it is in surprisingly good shape. There are some small blemishes for instance there is a (tear) on the Passenger side Pull Handle, the leather could use one more deep scrub cleaning and conditioner treatment. And the car also needs a New Head Liner installed. The exterior Paint still has a good shine to it, although it does have its blemishes all throughout like a spot of some spider web cracking on the right front Fender and some scratches on the drivers door as well as a pretty good sized scratch that has been touched up on the passenger door.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
