Ebay item 8/9/10
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Replica-Kit-Makes-1976-Jaguar-XJ12-Kit-w-Body-Kit-350-ch ...
Current bid $1,225, no reserve, 15 bids 4 days left in auction. 39k miles.
Sellers description:
NO RESERVE This is a unique Jaguar XJ12L that has the Chevy small block conversion engine. The original owner spent 20k plus in the 80's doing a unique conversion. The car has a made for Jaguar body kit that is really tastefully done and makes the car far more sports car-esque! The body mode kit is super rare and cannot be found. The car has three gas tanks including a racing tank in the center of the trunk which now acts as the primary tank. The car has been lowered and the rims and tires are special profile for the XJ and again very rare and hard to find. The interior has been redone over with wood finishes on the headliner. The doors and dash have been redone, along with a jaguar emblem replaced on the glove box. The engine sounds great and the CUSTOM dual exhaust sounds like a muscle car. I bought the car because the engine sounds so kick ass. The body has some rust spots along the windows and front grill as you can see from the pictures. This car runs, drives, and stops but needs work. You cannot jump in and drive this car home, I would have it towed. It has been stored for the past few years and the brakes are spongy. Please do not cheap out and try to drive it home... you only risking your life and others! This would be a good project or parts vehicle because there a ton of unique parts that would be worth far more than the car.
