Ebay item 4/14/15
www.ebay.com/itm/Jaguar-XJ6-Leather-/291431898840
Opening bid US $5,900 reserve not met no bids 5 days left in auction. 45k miles.

Sellers description:
This Fabulous car runs and drive excellent,
There is no smoke hot or cold and the tappets are very well adjusted for a near silent engine. The oil pressure hot is about 42 pounds at idle when at normal operating temperature.
The transmission shifts excellent.
The original interior is very, very nice for it's age. There is slight fading on the front seats but there are no rips or tears and shows very little wear, though the lower front seat foam could be replaced to make it like new.
The dash wood is beautiful with the only imperfection near the glove box. The top of the dash is also very nice as is the headliner.
The paint is bright but it appears to be an older paint job and has minor chips. There is also checking on the top of rear deck lid and tops of rear quarter panels.
The matching Dunlap tires shows even wear and all have 50% or better tread remaining.
The undercarriage shows no signs of rust but it has had sheet metal riveted to both front floors.
All the power windows operate but rear ones are slower than the front as they are rarely used.
The wipers, lights, turn signals all work as they should but the a/c system is not working.

This car is located at: World Wide Classics; 14650A Kuykendahl; Houston, Texas

Car returns to ebay 10/27/17
www.ebay.com/itm/1976-Jaguar-XJ6/172949495606
Current bid US $2,800 reserve not met 4 bids 9 days left in auction seller mste8262, 45k miles, car now said to be in Pelham, Alabama.

Sellers description:
This coupe was manufactured by shortening the frame of the XK6 to where it had a two-door body. There were many interesting modifications done to make the coupe work including the doors, which had to be larger and weighed 200 pounds each. The XJ6C was manufactured from 1976 to 1978 and was halted as a result of the oil crisis. The XJ6 4-door lived on until the late 90s.

This car is the rarest production car that Jaguar made. It contains a 1986 Jaguar fuel-injection engine, a custom powder-coated header back exhaust system, a custom fabricated ram air intake system, a Series 1 torque converter and lightened flywheel and a custom blackberry paint job, hence the name.

Purchased in 2015 and custom repainted, detailed completely, and refinished interior.

Car returns to ebay 8/14/18
www.ebay.com/itm/1976-Jaguar-XJ6/223099287480
Current bid US $3,500 reserve not met 46 bids 4 days left in auction, seller grimsenseofhumor, car now said to be in Birmingham, Alabama, 45k miles.

This car started out as a 44,000 miles chassis and had the complete interior removed to allow both complete floor pans and front jacking points replaced along with minor other areas where rust was noted. The build continued with compete removal of the drivetrain, suspensions, fuel tanks, and HVAC unit. A 1986, 56,000 mile Series 3 donor XJ6 was purchased to provide the new fuel injected drivetrain for the Coupe. The engine was removed from the donor and transplanted into the Coupe. The existing transmission from the XJ6C was used and had new seals installed while it was removed. With the new drivetrain installed, the oil cooler, radiator, A/C components along with all electrics and ancillaries were located in the engine bay as per later XJ specs. The air pump was removed and a GM alternator installed in its place. The Series 3 front sub-frame was installed into the XJ6C. The original rear suspension from the Coupe was used and has the 3:54 ratio differential. New fuel tanks and sender units were installed along with custom fuel lines and the complete fuel injection system and partial wiring harness from the donor car to make the Coupe fuel injected. Dual electric fans, custom exhaust complete with headers, a custom cold air intake utilizing a K&N filter inside the donor car's air filter housing were all incorporated. The donor car also provided the climate control for the Coupe, which was completely rebuilt prior to install and has the upgraded amplifier unit and a new A/C compressor. The seats were re-dyed as the leather and stitching is good. New sound deadener, Wilton wool carpets, and the donor car's dash top and dash wood were installed. The original gauges were retained. The Series 3 power mirrors were installed. An aftermarket stereo was also added along with an electric antenna. The car was then subject to a bare metal, glass out re-spray in black cherry that saw the addition of an XJ-S Growler medallion in place of the traditional leaper. The black vinyl top was left in place.
