Was restored once and was "Daimlier-ized" with badging, grill, trunk lid opener, chrome, etc. Was running great before I took it off the road in Dec 2017 to prep for painting and detailing engine compartment.

It's not back on the road, all painted and detailed and is now my daily driver

It's now 2024 and a bit of rust showed up in the rocker panels. Have completely treated it from the inside and had new metal welded in from the outside. Then some bodywork to smooth that out, then repainted again. Have also completely rebuilt front suspension and engine. Always a work in progress!

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
