This 1975 Jaguar XJ6C coupe was modified during previous ownership with a 383ci stroker V8 equipped with an Edelbrock carburetor and intake manifold along with a TH700R4 four-speed automatic transmission. The car is finished in silver blue over tan leather upholstery, and equipment includes 16″ Dayton wire wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, a lowered front suspension, automatic climate control, a JVC head unit, Polk speakers, an HEI distributor, and Flowmaster mufflers. The car was acquired by the seller in August 2021, and work has reportedly since involved recharging the air conditioning system, re-trimming the interior, and replacing the distributor, alternator, and various gaskets. This modified XJ6C is now offered at no reserve with service records beginning in 2004, a spare set of wheels, and a Kansas title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in silver blue with black pinstripes and was repainted over two decades ago, at which time the side marker lights were deleted, the rear wheel wells were enlarged, and European-style headlights were fitted. Series III-style bumpers were also installed, and the front bumper was recessed by approximately 2″ according to the seller. The antenna has been removed, and further exterior details include a Leaper hood ornament, a receiver hitch, and dual exhaust outlets exiting through the rear valance. Photos of paint chips around the body are viewable in the gallery below.

Chrome-finished 16″ Dayton wire wheels are mounted with 215/60 Goodyear Reliant All-Season tires. The spare tire compartment under the trunk floor has been enlarged and houses a non-matching full-size spare. The car rides on a lowered front suspension, and braking is provided by power-assisted discs at all four corners. The seller states the sway bar, steering box, and rack were replaced under previous ownership. A spare set of wheels with tires is included in the sale and shown in the gallery.

The front bucket seats and rear bench were sourced from a Jaguar XJ6 Series III and are trimmed in tan leather upholstery, which is contrasted by black carpets and door panels. Carpeted floor mats line the footwells, and appointments include wood trim, automatic climate control, power windows, and a JVC head unit linked to Polk audio speakers. The seller notes the rear window defroster is inoperative and the air conditioning system was recharged in March 2023.

A wood-rimmed steering wheel is mounted to a Subaru-sourced steering column and frames Smiths instrumentation including a 140-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. The five-digit odometer shows 46k miles, approximately 2k of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.

The 383ci stroker V8 was installed under previous ownership using a Suncoast Conversions kit and features an Edelbrock carburetor and Performer intake manifold. Additional components are said to include aluminum cylinder heads, Comp Cams Magnum roller rocker arms, and a GM radiator. An HEI distributor was reportedly installed under current ownership, along with a replacement alternator and gaskets for the water pump, intake manifold, and valve covers.

Power is routed to the rear wheels through a TH700R4 four-speed automatic transmission. The car is equipped with a dual exhaust system that features an H-pipe and Flowmaster mufflers, and the seller states the dual fuel tanks have been modified to operate in unison.

The Kansas title carries an “Antique” brand.
