Ebay item 11/13/14
www.ebay.com/itm/191411580861
Current bid US $3,000.00
Reserve not met 1 bid 6 days left in auction.

Sellers description:
This car was purchased from the estate of the original owner. She was 98 years old and the car was stored in a climate controlled garage and not driven for the last 21 years. It was attended to by her caretaker.

The vehicle has 111,746 original miles on it. It does have the famous Jaguar V12 which runs like a top and it is the desirable L model. (lots of room). The tanks and fuel system have been cleaned.

All fluids have been flushed and replaced. I have been driving it for the past month with no issues.

It shifts smoothly, has great power and handles perfectly. The body is perfect except for a very small ding on the right rear quarter panel, (very small). The paint is very good and shines like new. The chrome is perfect!

The body is extremely straight. The doors all operate properly. All the windows go up and down properly except for the left rear passenger window. It does operate but works slowly and needs some motivation.

The antennae does not operate. Original radio works perfectly. A/C compressor comes on but needs recharged. There is a small oil leak and small transmission leak it leaves about a quarter sized mark after a day of sitting.

It could probably use a new belt here and there and some hoses could use attention. The interior is very good.

The headliner has a small sag. The drivers side floor carpet has a tear in it. The dash is cracked. Seats are in very good condition along with all the door panels. The trunk is perfect.

This is a very rare car especially in this condition. Absolutely rust free! And yes it does look as good as it appears in the pictures. This car runs and looks like brand new except for minor wear which is to be expected for a 40 year old car.

This car is ready to take you wherever you want to go. I would have no doubts that it would make it across country just put gas in and go. This was a luxury car back in its day and still is. It is a pleasure to drive. Class and elegance abounds. This vehicle is a fine example of British engineering and is in extraordinary condition for being 40 years old.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
