Ebay item 2/19/20
www.ebay.com/itm/1973-Jaguar-XJ6/333519858588
Opening bid US $5,499, no reserve no bids 9 days left in auction buy it now price $8,999, seller spamtar, 70k miles.

Seller's description:
This 1973 Jaguar XJ6 (series one) Navy Blue.
With refurbished tan leather seating and tan interior upholstery. Very straight body and has largely been garaged most of its life. Both left and right side locking gas tanks. Lovely interior that appears to have been redone relatively recently.

There has been no other owners outside of our family. It was purchased and then shipped over from England in 1973/74 with the driving wheel on the left side to satisfy U.S. and California law. Besides myself who has only driven it about 600 miles there was only one owner (my late father) who mostly babied this lovely vehicle as long as I can remember. California SMOG EXEMPT. Starts up like it did shortly after coming off the lot with a manual choke, nevertheless should be treated with TLC that this nearly half a century classic deserves. New 2021 Registration tags. Buyer should expect to get lots of complements and interest by others when driving it around.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
