Sellers description:
1973 Jaguar XJ6 Sedan. Weekend driver with body and interior in good condition. White with black interior. Paint shines with only a few minor nicks. Wheels and tires in nice shape. All of the chrome shines up good. Seats, carpet and headliner in great shape. Starts right up and runs and drives just fine. Trunk and rockers are rust free. Few minor items to repair: brake booster not hooked up, power steering hose has a leak, small exhaust leak in left rear. Overall, a nice car that gets a lot of looks. I am not sure if this is a John's Cars kit, though it appears to be professionally done. The engine is Chevy 305 from a 81-85 Camaro (from the block #) and is mated to a turbo 350. It has the standard ram's horn exhaust manifolds and the stock Rochester carb. All of the lights and blinkers work. 3 of 4 windows work - 1 is missing a switch in the door. The tach and speedo are not hooked up, but the other gauges work. The electric fuel pumps have been removed and the fuel flows through the manual pump on the engine. I do not know when it was painted, but it was probably many years ago. I traded a Sportster for the car and the dealer who did the trade said the car had been in storage for the past 9 years, which matched the expiration on the tags. The car is currently registered and I drive it on weekends.
