Owner: David Caddel

Purchased from Ontario in 2013 and shipped via rail to Alberta. I am an old-time English car enthusiast. Although I have owned Austins, Triumphs and Rovers this is my first Jaguar. Very Happy.

Ebay item 5/23//13
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-XJ6-Series-1-NO-RESERVE-/171045245544
Opening bid $2,902.48, no reserve, no bids 4 days left in auction.

Sellers description:
I bought this XJ6 for my retirement a few years ago from a collector. I used it very sparingly and always garaged it. It has been in storage for more than a year now. I have not yet started it nor taken it for a drive this spring, yet. Usually it is a matter of cleaning the twin pumps, checking all fluids and giving the battery a full charge. It drives very nicely. It has between 45 and 50,000 miles on it. The paint is good. and the body is straight. I left the leaper off the hood, easily replaced. I had it stolen at a friends wedding one summer night and decided to leave it off. Tires and exhaust are good. All electrics and gauges work fine. Interior needs a good leather cleaning, the headliner is sagging down and should be replaced, as should the drivers seat pan diaphram, as the pan does sag. Chrome is good, no rust per say. Great oil pressure and a smooth engine.

Car returns to ebay 6/9/19

www.ebay.com/itm/1973-Jaguar-XJ6-Series-1/323829301442

Current bid: C$4,150 reserve not met 9 bids seller davec747, car now said to be in Nanaimo, British Columbia (previously Calgary, Alberta) 47k miles.

Seller's description:

Appealing colour combination, Silver exterior with black leather interior. 4-door saloon backed by 4.2 L straight-six. Very good overall condition with many upgrades. Original, numbers matching, comes with Jaguar certificate of authenticity. Long list of extra parts. I have original parts for any upgrades, for example, steering wheel comes from a 73 E-Type, I have the original. Aside from a repaint of average quality, the car is unrestored and very original. The interior and the power train show some aging and wear but the car is overall in above average condition.
