Sellers description:
1973 XJ6 series 1. The car is too nice to sell for parts, the body has 4 small rust through spots, you can see them in the pics. The car is really untouched from the factory (excluding the interior, it was originally black), I put a new right tank in there and fuel pump to start the car, it still had the factory fuel pumps in it, it started right up,no smoke ran great (compression was good all cyls., and changed oil and filter) good oil pressure, noisey water pump. I removed some of the smog stuff, but it goes with the car. I have the bumpers, but I removed them to check for rust, and install the tank. Both original tanks are not rotted, but they have some old gas in them, that needs to be cleaned before using. No rot under the doors, but some surface rust on top of the hood (see pics.) Floors are perfect. Mass title signed over to me.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
