This 1985 Jaguar XJ6 Sovereign is said to be a Canadian-market example that is finished in Cranberry Red over beige leather and powered by a 4.2-liter inline-six paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes 15″ alloy wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, KYB shock absorbers, automatic climate control, cruise control, a wood-accented dashboard, a Kenwood AM/FM/cassette stereo, and power windows, locks, and mirrors. The car was reportedly first sold in Canada before being brought to the US and later spent time in Ohio and California where it was acquired by the seller in 2020. This XJ6 is now offered at no reserve with a tool kit, an accident-free Carfax report, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.
The car is finished in Cranberry Red (CEE) and features a chrome grille, mirror covers, and door handles. Quad headlights, bright window trim, and dual polished exhaust outlets are additional exterior elements. The headlight wipers are missing.
The 15″ pepper pot—style alloy wheels are mounted with an older set of 205/70 Michelin Energy MXV4 tires. KYB shock absorbers have been fitted, and braking is handled by power-assisted discs at all four corners.
The front bucket seats and rear bench seat are upholstered in beige and accompanied by color-coordinated door panels and carpets. A Kenwood AM/FM/cassette stereo has been retrofitted, and appointments include automatic climate control, cruise control, a Quartz analog clock, wood dashboard trim, and power windows, locks, and mirrors.
The two-spoke steering wheel frames a 140-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure, voltage, fuel level, and coolant temperature. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 15k miles, approximately 300 of which have been added under current ownership.
The fuel-injected 4.2-liter inline-six was rated at 176 horsepower when new. An oil change was carried out and the distributor cap and rotor as well as the spark plugs were reportedly replaced in preparation for the sale.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission.
