Auction description:
1984 Jaguar XJ6 4.2 Series III Auto
Lot Number:
Estimate: No Reserve
V5 To be applied for
Chassis number: SAJJAALP3CC369288
This Jaguar XJ6 is being sold as a restoration project, having been off the road since around June 2017, when its last MoT expired. The vendor tells us that the engine does run, and the vehicle is complete.

The 4.2‑litre luxury car was registered in January 1984 and has had six former registered keepers. The indicated mileage on the odometer is 97,352.

There is no V5C, but the last MoT certificate from 2016 is included, as is the original book pack with electrical chart, owner's handbook, cassette/radio instructions, maintenance book and service record, stamped up to 28,870 miles in September 1987.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
