Ebay item 3/8/15
www.ebay.com/itm/Jaguar-XJ6-Vandenplas-Jaguar-XJ6-Vandenplas-Chevrolet-fuel-inje ...
Current bid US $1,500 reserve not met 18 bids 4 days left in auction. 120k miles.

Sellers description:
1986 Jaguar XJ6 Vandenplas for sale. This car has a 5.7 liter Chevrolet LT-1 Engine and a 4L60E automatic overdrive transmission, that came out of a very low miles 1996 Impala SS. A Johns Cars kit was used to install the engine and transmission. This car was painted approx. 8 years ago, and has had the seats all redone in camel colored leather. The interior is in great shape except for some of the wood grain in the dash which has some little cracks in it. Seats, door panels, headliner, carpet, and dash pad are near perfect. This has been a very enjoyable car for me as its a blast to drive on the highway. Runs and handles great. My reason for selling is I bought a 1969 Dodge Dart GT Convertible and I only keep around one car at a time to enjoy. My loss is your gain in fun.

Items on the car that still need work are The blower motor for heat and air wont come on, maybe a wire or fuse, the airconditioning has a new compressor and I have a new dryer. The ac lines need to be blown out and then have the dryer and compressor hooked up. The cruise control isn't working, I have replaced the bellows part but must be switch or fuse issue. The body has approx. 4 spots 2 bigger and 2 smaller that are rust bubbles. A body man friend of mine told me it wouldn't cost to much to fix, When the car was painted they didn't paint the inner fenders and firewall part under the hood so that is still a burgundy color. The door jambs and trunk was painted though. The speedometer works but the odometer (miles part) doesn't work. The gauges can be popped out and sent in and it could be fixed. Other then that the important stuff engine, transmission, rearend, brakes, and handling etc are all excellent! Good fuel milage 20+ miles per gallon.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
