Ebay item 3/28/21
www.ebay.com/itm/1986-Jaguar-XJ6/303936625391
Opening bid $4,900 no bids 9 days left in auction seller cw928, 100k miles.

Barone XJW coupe, one of a kind, the only one in the world, converted from a 4 door sedan into a coupe, replacing the engine with an Oldsmobile 260 V8, with an Edelbrock 4 barrel carburetor with electronic ignition and electric choke, read the full article on the history of this car in the February 1999 The Ontario Jaguar publication, Volume 10, Number 1, New battery, front rotors, calipers and brake pads, new air, fuel and oil filters and fresh oil change. Two headlights, brake lights, dash lights and turn signals all working. Radio/CD, electric windows, gas gauge, oil pressure gauge, temperature gauge, voltage gauges and tachometer all working, the speedometer and horn are not at the moment. Has Pirelli tires with good tread, but are older and cracking, but not leaking. The body has bubbling, flaking clear coat in some areas and amateur body work in some areas with unmatched paint. There is a small leak when the car sits, I believe from the transmission pan. The car starts right up, runs, drives and stops, I tool around town in it, but may need rear brake pads, I hear a noise when stopping. The under carriage has rust, it looks like it was recently undercoated over rusted areas. There are rust holes in the front of the floor boards. in the front wheel wheels mostly on the drivers side front fender, along with some amateur body filler repairs, I included some pictures of some of those areas, but please have the car inspected or see the car to determine the extent of the rust. The top is in okay shape with some repairs, I purchase vinyl paint to refinish the top which will be included. The pop up sunroof operates fine. All windows including the side, front windshield and rear window are great, no cracks. The exterior chrome is nice, no major pitting. The carpeting is in good shape and the seats are in excellent condition, the dash pad has 2 cracks. The trunk area is very nice. Due to the speedometer not working, I am unsure of the actual mileage, 50K is showing. The sale includes some extra parts, new outside rear window seal that is not installed, the Jaguar show license plates and frames, owners manual, wiring diagram and color brochure, the car has a clean Maryland title.

Car returns to ebay 1/9/22

www.ebay.com/itm/203784771208

Current bid: $2,550 reserve not met 4 bids 8 days left in auction, seller proteng, car now in Sarasota, Florida, 50k miles. Above seller was in Pasadena, Maryland.

Seller's description:

This Jaguar is here on consignment from a collector who purchased this as a marketing tool for his Jaguar mechanic shop. He put magnets on the side to advertise and it did very well BUT the car was not driven for a while. | just so happen to be in Maryland area for the holidays, which is where the car was located (I have family there) and | met with the owner of the car through a previous customer who referred me to the seller. He got the car transported (enclosed, | have no idea why) to Florida and it sits in my warehouse awaiting a new home.

There is rust and it needs a FULL restoration. The structure is all there, it runs great and the interior is in good shape. This would be a great candidate to put a crate engine in and restore the body because you would truthfully have a one of a kind car.

This car was built by Willie Wilson who loves Jaguars and he also built a Jaguar one of a kind limo. The article from “The

Ontario Jaguar” is attached below PLUS you can google “The Ontario Jaguar 2 door XJ6” and this car is all over the internet.

- The engine runs great and starts right up ~ very responsive. The engine that was installed during the conversion is a Oldsmobile 260 cubic-inch V8 engine. It now has around 50K miles the owner tells me.

- The transmission shifts good through all gears albeit | only got it up to 6SMPH.

- Very nice interior ~ the interior is complete and in good shape all around. Shows well for it’s age and you will feel comfortable driving it.

- The body has rust. HOWEVER, this can be repaired and it is not the complete body. The car has sat and will need to be restored as stated before.

- The vinyl top does need repair BUT does not leak. The inside of the car is dry and in my opinion the top would look great converted to black.

- 100% the car needs new tires, the ones on here are dry rotted and need changed.

The buyer that | am looking for is someone that says “ | would love to own and restore a Jaguar coupe”. You will be the only one in the world with this car as it is one of one. The only other car produced/converted by Willie Wilson was a Jaguar converted into a stretch limo.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
