Ebay item 9/29/12
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1984-Series-III-Jaguar-XJ6-professional-V8-kit-/25115713 ...
Current bid $3,000 reserve not met, 4 bids 2 days left in auction. 125k miles.

Sellers description:
Owned for 15 years. Engine was replaced with John's Cars Jaguar V8 kit back in 2001. They are the top-of-the-line conversion kit and cost me about $3500. Transmission was also upgraded to chevy turbohydromatic 350 trans for dependability. The paint job is about 9 years old. I drive it on weekends still and consider it dependable, especially with the Chevy 350 V8 and trans. Have manuals for it, including air conditioning workshop manual and nice electrical manual. Have also over $16,000 in receipts for it. Started work on interior and had headliner and rear shelf area replaced.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
