This was purchased new by an insurance executive and car collector. A fine, original example, it still resides in his immediate family. This Series III Jaguar shows as-new inside and out. The Connolly leather hides still exude a rich aroma. All seats show no wear and appear as new. The original factory floor mats have been covered since new as well as the carpeted trunk floor. This Minnesota car was stored in a climate-controlled garage every winter. No rust, body work, dings or dents appear on the original paint. The tool kit has never been removed and is as-new. The headliner was replaced in 2001. Regularly scheduled service has kept this car current and trouble-free. The original Pirelli P5s are still on the car, and the replaceable wood-grain decor around the gear shift is cracked. The 4.2-liter 6-cylinder has been used gently and purrs. 4-speed automatic transmission.
