Sellers description:
1984 Jaguar XJ6 -Series 3
VIN: SAJAV1346EC374923
1984 Jaguar XJ6 (Series 3), Cobalt Blue with Beige Leather. One-Owner, All Records/Receipts from New, Documented 52,900 miles. Cold A/C, Enthusiast Owned/Perfectly Maintained, Stored Winters, Exceptional Condition. This is the nicest and best maintained example you will find.
This 1984 Jaguar XJ6 was purchased new by the present local Michigan owner on October 31, 1983 at Peppers Imported Cars, Ltd (Jaguar Dealer) in South Bend, Indiana for $32,715. The same fastidious owner has maintained the XJ6 since new. Included are the original purchase order, odometer statement, all service records from new, and the original owner's manual pack. The car is original and unmolested, and everything works.
This XJ6 is truly a time capsule. It's been driven enough in nice weather so that it has not deteriorated due to lack of use and has been maintained to the highest standard/care so it shows very little wear inside and out. Maintenance receipts show service was performed as needed even when the mileage between services was low. The Jaguar had a very involved, "glass out" re-spray of the original Cobalt Blue paint in the late 1980s (with help from Jaguar warranty due to some minor imperfections in the rear fender and trunk area) and still looks exceptional. The car arrived at Fox Motorsports as you see it in the pictures. It starts up and runs great. The A/C blows cold and everything works from the cruise control, to the windows/sunroof, to the radio, to the power antenna. This is an exceptional example of a timeless English luxury sedan.
