Ebay item 8/23/18
www.ebay.com/itm/XJ6-6/142913644447
Car has a buy it now price of $7,900 for 6 days, seller theclassiccargallery, 94k miles.

Seller's description:
1986 Jaguar XJ6 "well sorted car" 94,520 miles, Ready to go. Vin SAJAV1343GC455817 The car on offer here is a 1986 Jaguar XJ6. With 94,520miles, this Jaguar XJ6 is an excellent "driver" quality car. The car has been well maintained and comes with a number of records dating back to 2010. It's Cirrus Grey (code ANC, it shows as tan) repaint has good shine and luster, and is free of any major blemishes. Inside, it's Buckskin (code AFR) tan leather seats show a similar condition with some wear on the driver's seat; the carpets are excellent. The headliner is tight, with no sagging. The wood veneers, often a problem area with these cars, are in excellent condition. The chrome and all trim pieces show well; the car looks crisp. The 4.2 litre inline-6 runs and starts well, with good power and torque. The 3-speed automatic shifts smoothly through all gears. The car drives easily with good control and is a pleasure. More then $1900 in recent service was spent on. This service included fan belt replacements, transmission flush and filter, european headlight install, as well as fitment of a new radio (we do not have the code). The heat works while the AC does not. These mid 80's jags are a great buy in the vintage car market. They offer real world drivability and great looks while still maintaining great style and performance. Bid with confidence as this car is a well sorted excellent driver with a clean Carfax.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
