Up for sale is my beautiful 1986 Jaguar xj6 in British racing green, tan leather interior and Dayton wire wheels. You will not find an other xj6 in this condition. Absolutely looks like it just rolled off the show room floor. Get complements constantly at the gas station, thumbs up on the freeway. The jaguar spent most of its life in Arizona. Since I have owned it stays in my garage and only driven in nice weather. Everything works as it should. All the electronics, ac is ice cold. No rattles, shakes or squeaks. The jaguar handles amazing and is a great highway cruiser. If you are in the market for a classic xj6 you will not find a better one. All the wood leather and headliner is perfect. Oil pressure never goes below 40 psi strong and healthy engine. Take a close look at the undercarriage pictures it’s all original zero rust. Most of these jaguars are sprayed with undercoating which hides the real condition of the automobile. Also I have converted the outer headlamps to the correct 7inch euro spec.

This 1986 Jaguar XJ6 was purchased new at Monte Shelton Motor Co. of Portland, Oregon, by former Nike and Adidas executive Rob Strasser. Finished in Jaguar Racing Green over Biscuit leather, the car is equipped with a sunroof, KYB Gas-a-Just rear shocks, and 15″ wire-spoke wheels while the interior houses a Nardi steering wheel, automatic climate control, and cruise control. Power is provided by an inline-six paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. It was acquired by the current owner in 2019, with subsequent work performed from 2019 through 2023 including cylinder head and wiring harness repairs in addition to replacing the alternator, fuel injectors, and ignition components. Now showing 79k miles, this XJ6 is offered by the seller on behalf of the owner at no reserve with service records, spare parts, a clean Carfax report, and a clean West Virginia title in the current owner’s name.

The car left the factory finished in Jaguar Racing Green (HER), and was refinished under prior ownership. A sunroof, quad headlights, and polished dual exhaust outlets are additional exterior details. The windshield washer motor is inoperable.

Wire-spoke 15″ wheels are wrapped in 205/70 Cooper Evolution Tour tires that have 2021 date codes. The car rides on an independent suspension and is equipped with power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes. KYB Gas-a-Just rear shocks have been added out back.

The seats are upholstered in Biscuit leather (ADE) and the cabin is appointed with automatic climate control, cruise control, and power windows and door locks. The cassette player does not work. The climate control temperature sensor was replaced in July 2021 and the seller states that a new air conditioning compressor has also been installed.

The wood-rimmed Nardi steering wheel frames a 140-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The six-digit odometer shows 79k miles, of which approximately 5k were added under current ownership.

The 4.2-liter inline-six was factory rated at 176 horsepower and 219 lb-ft of torque. Cylinder head and wiring harness repairs were carried out in 2020. Replacement ignition components were installed in April 2022 and service performed in 2023 involved replacing the alternator and fuel injectors. Two oil pressure-sending units were replaced in preparation for the sale and the oil was also changed.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission.
