Ebay item 12/3/21
www.ebay.com/itm/125031656055
Opening bid US $1,532, no reserve, no bids 6 days left in auction, seller carlnimal. 72k miles.
Seller's description:
The car for sale today hasn't been driven since 2014, I bought it for my wife in 2008 (with approximately 62,000 miles at that time) and it was driving perfectly but we moved to the suburbs and since our commute became much longer we decided to only use this car on the weekends and little by little we simply stopped driving it. The car will require to be towed and has been driven in total around 72,899 miles: a great opportunity to buy a very good example of the last model which had been created by Sir William Lyons. This vehicle used to be in excellent mechanical condition but for safety reasons and because it doesn't have a current registration we advise the purchaser to have it checked over and to replace the fluids, filters and perishable elements. "Buyer is responsible for registering the car with their state department of motor vehicles." Please note, to register this XJ6 in California you'll need to pay the rights for the most recent 3 years, which as of December 2nd, 2021 sum to $751. This car doesn't need to pass the Smog Test verification anymore because of its age it is considered as a Classic Vehicle. The car is in California, Los Angeles County.
The exterior is finished in burgundy. Stock 15” Kent wheels are wrapped in original Pirelli tires. Tan leather seats are complemented by matching carpets and door panels. A Pioneer CD stereo replaces the factory radio, and the car is equipped with cruise control and a trip computer. Please note minor cracks in the clear coat of the burl wood trim on the dash and center stack.
The fuel-injected 4.2L inline-six sends power to the rear wheels through a Borg Warner 3-speed automatic transmission. The most recent oil change was performed in 2014.
