This 1987 Jaguar XJ6 is finished in red over gray leather upholstery and is powered by a 4.2-liter inline-six paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. The car is said to have spent time in California and Kansas before the seller’s acquisition in June 2022. Equipment includes 15″ alloy wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, a power-operated sunroof, cruise control, power accessories, automatic climate control, and a factory cassette stereo. This XJ6 shows 112k miles and is now offered at no reserve with service records, manufacturer’s literature, an accident-free Carfax report, and an Oklahoma title in the seller’s name.

The car left the factory finished in Crimson Metallic (CEV) and is said to have been repainted in its current shade of red under prior ownership. Features include bright trim, a Leaper hood ornament, a power-operated sunroof, dual chrome fuel caps, and dual exhaust outlets. Close-up photos of the paint and trim can be seen in the gallery.

Factory 15″ Kent alloy wheels wear 215/70 Michelin Energy MXV4 tires. A full-size spare is stored in the trunk. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes.

The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in Savile Grey leather along with color-coordinated door panel inserts and carpeting. Amenities include cruise control, polished sill plates, an onboard trip computer, automatic climate control, power windows and locks, and a factory cassette stereo. The air conditioning system was converted to utilize R134a refrigerant in July 2000, and the headliner was replaced in September 2022. The wood veneer trim is cracking.

The two-spoke steering wheel frames a 140-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and supplementary gauges. The mechanical odometer shows 112k miles, of which approximately 1k were added during current ownership.

The 4.2-liter inline-six features electronic fuel injection and was factory rated at 176 horsepower and 219 lb-ft of torque. The starter motor is said to have been replaced in 2019, and an oil change was performed in preparation for the sale.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a BorgWarner three-speed automatic transmission. Corrosion can be seen on underside components.

Service records and manufacturer’s literature are included in the sale.
