Ebay item 9/17/19
www.ebay.com/itm/1985-Jaguar-XJ/333331074242
Current bid: $1,525 no reserve, 6 bids 5 days left in auction seller 4eugene47, 85k miles.
Seller's description:
1985 Jaguar XJ6, 85358mi----Very nice condition, shines up like day one...Leather int, power moonroof, windows, factory wire wheels, Sony stereo with 10 disc changer in the trunk. Very few miles on Pirelli tires. Runs well and drives/stops...but this car has been in storage for the last 4-5years, only coming out once a year or so for a short trip around the block...it is not road ready by any means, and will need maintenance, fresh fuel, and tune-up at the least...But it does start up, idle fine, rev up and drive, and stop as is. Leather is good, but does have some cracks. Body is near perfect, no dents , no scrapes, no scratches..1 rust bubble under the paint I found literally when I was taking these pictures, pass rear fender well. I do have a clear WI title, and the original sales sheet for this car, along with a whole folder full of docs and info---Was sold new at Troncalli Jaguar in Decatur, GA Dec 84', at a cost of $36,363.38....she was pricey ($1900 was the wire wheel option alone) So it is what it is, more of a "needs TLC" light project car, the one thing I noticed that does not work is power steering...other than that it all seems to work fine, power windows, sunroof, etc---Motor sounds very smooth, no smoke, no leaks, no odd noises. Dual fuel tanks, but we only use the passenger side, as the driver side has very old fuel..I did not even polish this car before pics, just backed it out...it really has nice paint, chrome, lights, and brightwork...Needs a better home...No reserve!
