Ebay item 11/25/18
www.ebay.com/itm/1987-Jaguar-XJ6-Super-Low-43K-Miles-Collectible-Garaged-All-Boo ...
Car has a buy it now price of $12,950 for 4 days, seller european-cars, 43k miles.

Seller's description:
Exceptionally well kept, great looking sport luxury automobile, one of the finest series that Jaguar makes. This car says a lot about its owner, and has been renowned in the world as a symbol of prestige and class, as well as having great performance.

The vehicle has been made and assembled entirely in England! It's been very well kept and serviced!. It’s a great color combo with black exterior and tan leather interior which adds a lot of luxury appeal to it.

Judging by the miles and the condition of the car, it has been mostly used on the highway and it has also been garage kept!

There are no reported manufacturer's defects on this vehicle. A never-smoked-in before beauty that looks great and smells clean.

The engine is an exceptional inline 4.2L - one of the most powerful in the segment of that time - runs strong and smooth provides the power you have come to expect from a Jaguar. The transmission has the Jaguar mark on it as well and shifts like on a new car, no skips or slips on shifts - actually it does it so smoothly that you can't feel it shifting. The car runs great! The engine compartment is clean.

All the electrical options appear to be in working order.

The interior is clean while the seats show almost no wear - truly exceptional for a vehicle of this vintage. Extensive wood trim adds a true luxury touch.

The rims look good and the tires have plenty of tread left.

Not many of those Jaguars were made for the US, this is your chance to own a truly unique luxurious sedan, IT STANDS OUT DUE TO ITS CONDITION AND LOW MILEAGE, in black color, one of the best if not THE best colors for these luxury sedans.

Lot #237772

This 1987 Jaguar XJ6 was acquired by the seller in 2019 and now shows 51k miles. It is powered by a 4.2-liter inline-six paired with a three-speed automatic transmission and is finished in black over Biscuit leather. Equipment includes a sunroof, a power antenna, 15″ Kent vented alloy wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, an AM/FM/cassette stereo, front bucket seats, automatic climate control, cruise control, and power windows. This Series III XJ6 is now offered with the owner’s manuals, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Arizona title in the seller’s name.

The Pininfarina-styled bodywork is finished in black and features a power sunroof, a power antenna, power-adjustable side mirrors, bright trim, and dual exhaust outlets. The seller notes evidence of prior repairs on the right-rear door.

The 15″ Kent vented alloy wheels are mounted with 215/70 Yokohama Avid tires, which were installed in 2023. and braking is handled by ventilated front and solid inboard rear discs.

The seating surfaces are trimmed in Biscuit leather (ADE), while burl wood accents the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Interior equipment includes an AM/FM/cassette stereo, a trip computer, front bucket seats, automatic climate control, cruise control, and power windows and locks. The A/C compressor was replaced in 2021. The windshield wipers do not return to their down position automatically, and the cruise control sometimes requires moving the shift lever.

The two-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 140-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 5k-rpm redline as well as gauges for oil pressure, voltage, fuel level, and coolant temperature. The six-digit odometer shows 51k miles, approximately 800 of which were added under current ownership.

The 4.2-liter inline-six was factory rated at 205 horsepower and 231 lb-ft of torque. The fuel pump was replaced and an oil change was performed in 2025.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a BorgWarner three-speed automatic transmission.
