Lot 114 - 1976 Jaguar XJ6 Series II (3.4 litre)
Lot Number 114
Registration NFX 404P
Chassis Number 3A3030BW

Estimate No Reserve
This super stylish Jaguar was originally registered on 15th April 1976. The car appears to be in good all round condition showing no real signs of corrosion in all the usual places. As a base model 3.4 litre Jaguar, this car was fitted with automatic transmission as a factory option. The velour trim was standard and indeed shows very little sign of wear. Wind-up windows are still on the car; electric windows were an expensive cost option on this model. We are advised by the vendor she drives well; these Series II examples are full of character and charm. Offered for sale without reserve.

Guide price £9,000-£12,000

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
