Details
In 1975 the second generation XJ saloon was launched with a number of changes. The front bumper had been raised to conform with USA legislation, the front side lights and indicators were now located below the bumper, the interior had been revamped and the engines now ranged from 3.4 litre to 5.3 litre. These new cars were also built solely under British Leyland control, whereas the original XJ concept was pure Jaguar.

Offered here is a 1974 Daimler version of the XJ6L, which has the 4.2 litre XK engine and three-speed automatic transmisson. It has covered a mere 36000 miles from new, with around 1000 miles being covered in the last 4 years. The car is being sold on behalf of the estate of the desceased owner.

Finished in Mexico brown with nutmeg hide, the car is equipped with the usual options. These include electric windows, power steering, courtesy lights, Philips stereo, electric aerial etc. All guages, switches and electric powered options are in working order.

The car is said to have been Ziebart treated from new and is described as being free of any welded repairs on the uderside. It is offered complete with the original supplying dealer sticker in the rear window and is equipped with the optional front and rear headrest.

Estimate £3750-5500
