The 1974 Daimler Sovereign series 2 short wheelbase 4.2 litre offered here is described by the vendor to be in excellent condition throughout, and to drive as it should. The car has always been well looked after and garaged, and comes with maintenance history, bills, MOT certificates, drivers handbook, original passport to service, and a Jaguar heritage certificate confirming this as a matching numbers car.
The car looks very attractive in the good Tudor white paintwork and blue leather interior. It has seen very little use over the last few years, as shown by the history, and is being sold as the vendor believes the car deserves to be properly used. Although the 82,000 miles is not warranted, it is believed genuine, and compares well with the available history. These Jaguar XJ6 examples are good starter classics that perform well in modern traffic.
