JDHT cert. only says "Silver"

Owner: Pekka Telivuo

This E-type (1E76372BW) was my first car when I bought it over 17 years ago. It was love at first sight! I got it back on the road in 1998 and then we were a 2+2 family! Now I have three children and three other Jags from 1950 to 1998. After 16 years I sold my 1st car to a nice man from Hamburg, Germany, but could not live without an E-type! Bought from Milan in April 2007. Three owners, all from Milan, until 1996 when it was bought by Srl Biemme Motors in Merone, repainted in original Silver and sold to owner of Spa. Merate Auto in Merate, also from Milan who I bought the car from.

Engine now rebuilt and driven-in, 3700 miles across Europe. We saw a lot of nice places on the way (Ole Sommer's museum, Legoland, the Alps, the Adriatic Sea) and participated in the German JAG club's 30th anniversary in Bad Driburg Germany, two action shots from there hereby.

changed the current engine number, High compression engine from a very late 420G

Nope, the engine is from a Series 1 XJ6, BUT it is the high compression one as stated by the engine number, 2" HS8 SU's as per original.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
