This impressive survivor in classic period Jupiter Green with black vinyl roof and Biscuit trim is owned by a Jaguar enthusiast who loves the XJC (or XJ6C as the owner’s handbook refers to it) and this is not the only example he has owned. The original Car Record (certified by chief archivist and well-known classic car expert Anders Ditlev Clausager) says this one was manufactured on 30 March 1977. In 1985 it was imported from England to Western Australia. The current owner acquired the XJC in August 2007 and managed to track down the Mr and Mrs Hill who had imported it all those years previously. He was then able to establish that among the work that had been done to the car was a new head gasket, shock absorbers and fuel pump. This now rare Jaguar is believed to have covered only about 90,000 miles and the original engine and automatic transmission remain in good condition.
