According to the vendor this stylish XJC was purchased new in England and arrived in Australia as a personal import for its original custodian, who owned it for the first 30 years of its life.
The current owner has added around 4000kms over the last four years and has restored this sleek cat, installing a new gearbox and having the shell re-painted in a non-original Metallic Green. Interior refurbishment works included the vinyl roof and carpets, which compliment the re-trimmed Tan leather and excellent timber inserts. A detachable face CD player adds a touch of modern comfort.
To be sold unregistered, a blue slip will be supplied if the car is sold in NSW.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
