1997: May 1997, Jaguar Enthusiast, UK club magazine, p 80 classified ad for sale: "Jaguar XJ12 coupe, 5.3, RHD, aircon, new leather, chassis 2G1225BW. Totally stripped down to shell, exceptionally sound, requires minor welding. Lots of new genuine parts including front wings grille panel, rear lower wings, lower boot panel, radiator and more. Doors and chrome VGC (some new) mechanically overhauled steering rack, 2 spare engines (stripped). Doesn't require a lot of money spending to finish, just time.
