First regd in UK on 13 Nov 75 as MFW410P. Demonstrator with dealer. Bought by John & Frances Elmgreen (3 previous owners) in London in late 1970s from a Camden Town dealer, last regd keeper since 12 Dec 77 Francis Drugan of 55 Gloucester Grove, Burnt Oak, Edgware HA8. Used there and in Europe. 140mph seen on Jabbeke motorway in Belgium. Brought back to Australia in 1981. Regd in NSW XJC530. Sold 1990 to Brian Vitnell of NSW, still in its original Green Sand (mustard) colour. In 1989 showed 67,732 recorded miles.

March 1991, UK club magazine Jaguar Driver, page 41: Letter from Brian Vitnell of Singleton, NSW, with pic of the car still registered XJC530. He said, " Refurbishment of the car is now complete except for a respray and rechroming of the side rubbing strip." He later sold the car. Still my favourite modern Jaguar saloon.
