Owned by John Elmgreen and Michael J. Maxwell in 1970s in London. First registered 4 Aug 70, DUU22J. Sold to them by M.S.L. Reed of 15 Beaufort Gardens, Hendon, London NW4 fpr Pds1220 on 28 Jan 78, keeper at that time recorded as Pantelis Zempashis of 23 Arlington Rd, London NW1. Dark blue. Traded in on XJ 5.3 litre V12 coupe with a Camden Town dealer.

The car was stolen from outside 76 Dynham Road, NW6 in about February or March 1979. It suffered some damage I think. On 8 March 1979 it was sold to R & W Estate cars of Chalk Farm Service Station 29-33 Chalk Farm Road NW1 for £375 as a trade in on a V12 XJC which I bought through them. The invoice stated: “For Breaking”.
