Ebay item 4/5/21

Car listed as 1L68998, see above. Photos listed at 2S4224BW.

Buy it now price $3,720 seller jamesstr.

I acquired this Right Hand Drive Jaguar car 4 years ago from the previous owner who has since past away. It was appraised in 2014 at $12700.00 CDN. No accidents. Clean report from Ministry. The car drove great at that time but suddenly stopped going forward. It works great in reverse. I have done most of the mechanical restoration work. Duel fuel pumps rebuilt. Carbs rebuilt. Manual choke installed, new parking brake cable, new re-core rad. New Jaguar cooling hoses, new battery, Starter solenoid replaced. etc. The distributor has been replaced with an electronic model. All parts used were OEM jaguar parts with the exception of the distributor.  All old parts replaced have been retained including original distributor. The tires are as new. Brakes are good. There are many new parts included including brake pads and all Jaguar badges, Manuals, microfiche are also included. Previous owner did all the body and chassis restoration.

New valve cover gaskets installed, upon inspection, there was no signs of wear on cam. The 4 way flasher switch was broken and replaced with new from jaguar but the wiring configuration is different and needs to be completed. Old switch is retained for reference.

Oil filter replaced with additional one included. A Pillars require installation. Deluxe travel cover included. Key works in drivers door and ignition.

This car needs some work but is a beautiful Right hand Drive vehicle.

Appraisal shows 1972 but Ownership shows 1973.

My disability prevents me from completing this vehicle. Selling price is less that what I have invested in parts.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
