Ebay item 6/22/24
www.ebay.com/itm/285921959828
Car has a buy it now price of $7,900 for 6 days, seller dacar-7967, 96k miles

Seller's description:
My Father in law passed and this was his pride and joy. This 1971 Jaguar XJ6 is a Series 1 featuring its original 4.2 liter inline 6-cylinder engine and 94,000 documented miles. All original both body and interior and outside of 2 very small rust spots on front fender, the car is in excellent shape in and out.
At this time the car has been sitting in Garage for the past year and so there is an issue starting. It ran great prior, so I imagine this is perhaps bad gas or plugs? Perfect car to drop that Chevy engine. I did that with my 1976 with a 327.
He bought this car for over 16K back in the Day and it still has great life left for a new owner.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
