After opening bid there is no reserve on this fine Roadster .Jaguar custom roadster named the JAGROD .It was hand built by me the owner about 9 years ago . i started with a 1971 XJ6 Jaguar . It is titled and registered as a 1971 Jaguar RD [ roadster ] in Colorado for the last 8 years . It is also insured by Hagerty Insurance for $ 25.000.00.
I hand fabricated a custom chassis using 2 x 3 tubing and adding all the XJ6 front and rear suspension and steering. Coil over shocks at both ends with rack and pinion. Originally it was built with the XJ6 4.2 engine but unfortunately the engine went south on me so it was replaced with a 350 CI Chevy and a TH 350 transmission. The side dump headers were fabed by me and are uncap-able for some loud fun with full exhaust under the car to the rear. This ride weighs in at 2000 LBs and is a blast to drive. It will go straight down the road even at 80 MPH . It cools great no heating problems . For even more fun find the curvy roads.
