*Manual overdrive 4 speed gearbox
*Highly original example
*Right-hand drive
*Fantastic colour combination
MOT Exempt
Mileage 13,218

This very rare manual overdrive equipped XJ6 was originally registered in 1973 as BDW 504L, being built in late 1972. The XJ6 was purchased by the vendors family in 2000 and imported to Ireland where it is currently registered and forms part of a highly important European collection. The XJ6 presents very well, with the interior trim in particularly fine fettle. Running and driving nicely, this XJ6 is offered with a good history file of previous maintenance invoices, expired MOTs and Irish Registration document.

Classified ad asking £22,950, seller Chasing Classic Parts, 16k miles stated, Bolton, UK

Seller's description:

This is probably the best XJ6 Mk1 unrestored in existence

making it even more rare it is a 2.8 Manual with overdrive

This car is due to be featured in April 2025 Classic and sports car magazine on sale 5th April

The car featured in the same magazine in 1997 when the magazine borrowed the car and did a road trip to France covering 1300 miles which is documented in a 5 page colour article

The car needs to be seen to appreciate how nice it is
